It's my last full week in the United States, and I am so much busier than I ever would have imagined. I was fully expecting to be able to work out twice a day and study Russian for hours on end before I have to leave, but I've been running around trying to finish everything instead.
I can't wait to get going, but I still have too much to do before then.
My goal is to become as fluent in Russian as I can in four months, to the point of actually thinking in Russian and perhaps dreaming in the language a little. We'll see, but I'm going to push myself to get better every single day I'm in that colder than hell motherland of vodka and bribery. And I'm going to love it.

Well, Missy, have fun over there, but take care of yourself! Don't do anything I haven't done more than twice ;) I hope you have an amazing experience and learn as much as you can which I know is quite alot. Keep us up to date when you can; I know that will be difficult.
Miss ya lots,
Kerry!
PS: As long as you're over there, send me a bottle of that authentic Russian vodka! :p
PPS: Why is the post a comment section in French?
Aaah, I'm so happy for you (and jealous)! You have to teach me some Russian next I see you! It's one of the languages I'd love to learn someday! Seriously, you're going to have so much fun! Love you!
べんきょうします! がんばって! てがみをかきます! 一路平安を祈る!!! (Study! Do your best! Write letters! I wish you a smooth road / traditional 'Have a safe trip'!!!)
Woooo!!! 6 more days and you'll be in a frozen country with tons of my favorite stuff...I know what you're thinking...but it's not snow :) anyway, have a safe trip, have fun and stay warm, yes even if it means drinking some vodka...it seriously will warm you up, for a while anyway!!! And make sure you take pictures :)
Love you and miss you,
Your baby sister,
Karrie
Um Katie...
I hope you have been doing better on your vodka filght..(these are shots you know)haha

Hello lady...oh how many years ago you were our little "katya", "kasi", the "Polish princess"...how could I have known then you would one day, actually be standing on Russian soil and speaking their language!!! Gifted in so many ways, I am not able to relate all I feel for you, other than, I am truly blessed to have you as a daughter. I will miss you these next five months but, I know your commitment...your strength is admirable. You are loved.
Now that the mush is out of the way, don't be afraid to get out there and "kick a little a--". The true Russian vodka you won't want...but, a weaker version mixed with fruit juice helps to kick off the cold of winter...if you find it cold there!!
Love ya lady...hugs from mom :o)
Yo Lt!
Finally got this puter to let me do sumpin'! So glad you are doin' OK.
Finished the Bio of "LaBamba (lol) and you were right...."from a different perspective" this young man DOES have some good points. The fact that he is just a little to the right of Sillary means he'll never get this ole biker's vote however. But it was truly good reading. Thank you for that!
It's unfortunate that your dad doesn't have a puter. THEN I could forward your comment 'bout his bein'OLD!!!!! hahaha However, if you ever want me to relay stuff to him, let me know and I'll do it. AND, I'll STILL tell him you said he was old! lol
NO I WON"t darlin'.
Uh.......'bout that Wodka! Have it for breakfast and your days will go by weally weally quickly!
Take care of YOU Lt!
Be well and God Bless.
Ed.
